When Distance Is No Barrier to Professional Partnership
Met with Ilya Christmann—a geologist with an impeccable reputation who is now developing his practice in Germany under the Christmann Geologische Beratung brand. Ilya was visiting Astana, and we seized the opportunity to review our completed joint projects and outline plans for the future.
Minerals Operating company handles the technical work—modelling, data processing, reserve calculations. Ilya brings his expertise where an eye with deep understanding of ore geology is needed. Remote work has long been the norm, but face-to-face meetings provide something video calls cannot replace—the chance to discuss details and align our understanding of upcoming tasks.
Much in this profession is built on trust. Find a specialist you can rely on—and distance ceases to be an issue. Geography becomes secondary when you share common work standards and the readiness to stand behind your results.
